We are a modern office that is at the heart of society. What do we mean by sustainability? According to MPVB, it is involvement with our living environment, both in personal relationships and with the physical environment itself.

So we do our bit by making conscious choices. For example, we cycle to the vast majority of our appointments and separate our waste. Of course, if only because we are frugal and regularly work on an EPA Advice, we have LED lighting everywhere. We store everything as much as possible in the cloud and try to keep our communication digital and use as little paper as possible, which is also a lot clearer.

It is certainly not an obligation, but we encourage our colleagues and other relations to exercise a lot and, for example, eat healthy and vegetarian. A healthy mind lives in a healthy body, is our credo.

Color or origin never plays a role with us, every person is equal, both in personnel policy and with tenants or executors. If someone gets into financial trouble, we try to help them, and of course also limit the damage as much as possible. When new legislation is introduced, even if we sometimes have our reservations about it, we implement it.

When a client needs to renovate, we always advise on insulation and other sustainable aspects. Furthermore, we are happy to advise on energy-saving measures for new leases of business premises and we have a good network of EPA Advisors.

We also find the relationships with contractors and other maintenance people very important. We only work with professionals and we pay them a reasonable price. Better something good, that also stays good for a long time, than something cheap that can be done again after a short time. Whether a painter was cheap, you can often see after a year, for example, but then it is already too late.

So we prefer to use a painter whose quality we know. That is also a reason why we cherish the good relationships, waiting every time again to see if the quality is good seems unwise to us.
